The Network Crest

Labourers For Christ Apostolic Ecumenical Community Network of Kingdom Churches and Ministries or The Apostolic Ecumenical Network’s crest meaning and magnitude lies solely in the value and significance of the symbols that lie therein. Colors are often used to signify the richness and depth of the relationship between God and man. The richer the color, the more depth there is to the relationship, meaning, and/or significance. For instance, within this crest Purple symbolizes Jesus’ royalty and priesthood as well as our kingdom authority due our sonship inheritance (Revelations 5:10). Red is a symbol of Christ’s love and life as shown in the earth through His blood atonement sacrifice which redeems, cleanses, and justifies us from sin. Gold symbolizes the deity and glory of God through the eternal Godhead which is pure in its divine holiness, majesty, righteousness and power.

As we focus our attention to the center of the crest, the gold Cross is the message of the Church for the salvation of the world in Christ. It is also the place where your will submits to God’s will. The gold Crozier (the shepherd crook or staff) is a symbol of the pastoral office and authority to shepherd the flock of God or Episcopal jurisdiction. Mitre (head garment) symbolizes holiness, righteousness, and authority. Christ who is the High Priest and Head of the Church controls the Body of Christ. The High Priest does not wear the Mitre, but those who hold the responsibility of leadership, wears the Mitre. The Mitre symbolizes subjection to Christ as He subjected Himself to the Father and to the Father’s will. The Cope (or cape), accompanied by the Mitre, is a symbol of the apostolic mantle that covers those under the Apostolic Ecumenical Network. The Bible states that a three strand cord is not easily broken. The 3 Fold Cord symbolizes the Eternal Godhead (God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit), the apostle, and the Apostolic Ecumenical Network community. In God’s eyesight, every soul is valuable. The Broken Vessel symbolizes humility and servitude. Therefore, we are vessels sanctified, used by God for every good work as He pours us out as a drink offering to the World/Nations that He loves. Ark of Covenant – represents God and the covenant made between God and His people that He would be forever present with them and be their God. It was placed in the tabernacle whereas Blood was placed on the mercy seat (between two cherubim) by the High Priest to make atonement for our sins. The Wooden Cross or Cross Bridging Man symbolizes the process of God bringing humanity into relationship with himself through the blood sacrifice Jesus Christ which was the final atonement for our sins which brings redemption, justification and reconciliation to man; therefore, the (Tablets) or law has been fulfilled establishing the new covenant.
