ABOUT CDEC
CDEC provides an education that is God-Centered vs. man-centered & yet realistic to the environment that our children live in.
CDEC encourages the development of a covenant relationship with God through:
- Biblical Truth
- Application: Live by the faith in the Son of God
- Empowerment (Psalms 1:3)
CDEC The CDEC staff is fully trained in the program and are Christians committed to a covenant relationship with God. They believe in the power of God to direct, shape and make clear the destiny of children in an educational setting where He is the standard and example for life.
State of Illinois certifications/endorsements among the staff include high school, elementary/middle school reading special needs and curriculum development.
CURRICULUM
Incorporation of the Accelerated Christian Education Curriculum which:
- Places children at their exact academic ability by diagnostic testing
- Incorporates goal setting, character building & wisdom principles
- Utilizes multimedia & computer technology
- Encourages parental involvement
- Stresses the uniqueness of the individual
- Teaches critical thinking skills
- Produces academic excellence
- College opportunities such as “the University of Illinois, University of Chicago, Trinity College, Wheaton College, Bradley University, Purdue University”
