Mission & Vision Statement
In accordance with Habakkuk 2:2 we have been mandated to write the vision, to make it plain in order that those who will run for Christ may be able to see, comprehend and obtain the promise.
OUR VISION
Matthew 9:36-38 (KJV)
But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. Then saith he unto his disciples, the harvest truly [is] plenteous, but the labourers [are] few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
Revelation 14:15b (NASB)
“Put in your sickle and reap, because the hour to reap has come, because the harvest of the earth is ripe.”
We must be Kingdom-Builders, God’s Agents of Reconciliation, and Laborer’s who have been constrained and commissioned to reap this end-time harvest.
OUR MISSION
Ephesians 4:11-13 (NIV)
It was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
Consequently, we have been charged with the task of: Evangelizing, Educating, Equipping, Edifying, Exhorting and Establishing each into their place in the Eccelesia. We have a mission to minister in the Mercy of our Maker and Master, to the misery of the multitude, that they may encounter a Move of God that will modify their life.
Accordingly, our purpose is to prepare Labourer’s for the harvest, by utilizing the principles found in Ephesians 4:11-13. Paul stated in Ephesians, that there was a work that needed to be done, for which we are being equipped. The prophet Jeremiah states why Laboures are essential and crucial in this end-time harvest season:
Jeremiah 8:20 (NASB)
“Harvest is past, summer is ended, and we are not saved.”
Therefore, pointing us in the direction of our purpose:
1. We will supply spiritual nourishment to the mind, body and soul.
2. We will educate and equip the church with the necessary tools for effective outreach.
3. We will make the Church an island in a hostile world, where each Christian can come for worship, strength, identification, learning, equipping and fellowshipping.
4. We will provide a place of service to meet needs and fight the various spiritual gifts within the Church. The results being that God is Glorified, the Church is edified and the Laity is equipped to do the Will of God, thus changing our world one soul at a time. For every soul would save a soul, then every soul could be saved.
5. We will seek to maintain the unity of the Church of Jesus Christ with the opposition of denominational barriers.
6. We will uphold the Micah Mandate, “He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”
In our daily living, thus shinning forth as a beacon of light, which will usher a lost and dying world out of darkness.
